A supporter CRM that knows your people. Every gift, membership, ticket and email builds one record, and that record tells your team who to call next.

Warmth score

A 0–100 score for every supporter, with a plain-English reason for each point and a 90-day trend that shows who is warming up and who is cooling off.

Households and relationships

Family memberships for museums, and businesses and their people for chambers. Each membership level sets how many household places it includes, and the member chooses who fills them.

Email, letters and automations

Templates, letters on your letterhead, and multi-step automations that start when someone gives, joins, renews or lapses. See who opened and clicked your appeals.

A profile your staff will use

Giving at a glance, a full timeline, donor levels, and an owner and a stage for every relationship, with a My portfolio view for each staff member.

Records that stay clean

A duplicates queue with merging and undo, deceased records handled with care, and opt-outs your supporters control themselves.

Tributes, pledges, volunteers and grants

In-honor and in-memory gifts with tribute letters, pledges with payment schedules, volunteer shifts and hours, and grant awards that flow straight into the ledger.

Built for organizations that take money in more than one way. If your members, donors, visitors and guests each live in a different system today, Clerestory puts them on one record.

Honest limits

What Clerestory does not do

Better you hear it now than after you have moved your members over.

Collections management

Clerestory does not catalog objects. Keep your collections system for that.

Timed entry and reserved seating

Walk-up admission is sold by price tier, not by time slot, and tickets are general admission. Timed sessions with a capacity can be sold as an event series.

Meeting attendance and district reporting

Clerestory does not track attendance or report to a district or to Rotary International.

Text messages, offline mode and tap to pay on iPhone

Alerts and receipts go by email, card payments need a connection, and in-person cards use a Stripe card reader.

Website building

Clerestory gives you forms, event pages and a directory to embed, not a website.
Frequently asked questions

Straight answers, before the demo

What is Clerestory?

Clerestory is a CRM and payments platform for non-profits. Memberships, dues, donations, admission, events, auctions, raffles, classes and the gift shop run in one checkout on the organization's own Stripe account, and every payment lands on one record for each supporter.

Can donors cover the processing fees?

Yes. Fee coverage is a checkbox at checkout that starts unticked, and it covers our platform fee and Stripe's processing fee together, so the organization receives the full amount. Across every payment through September 2026, 44% of people paying chose to cover the fees.

Can a club and its foundation use one Clerestory account?

Yes. Each entity is its own payment account on the same organization, with its own bank account, EIN and tax classification, and each receipt says whether the payment is tax-deductible.

What happens if we leave?

There is no contract to end and no cancellation fee. Payments run on your own Stripe account, so the account and its history stay with you, and you can export your donor, membership and payment records.
