Built by a non-profit board member, for non-profits. Clerestory is a supporter CRM with one checkout for memberships, dues, donations, admission, events, auctions and the gift shop, on your own Stripe account, at a price anyone can read.

Why we built it

Most non-profits run on a stack: a processor for cards, a CRM for donors, a ticketing tool for the gala, a spreadsheet for dues. Each one holds part of the story, and staff spend their week stitching it back together.

Clerestory replaces the stack with one supporter CRM and one checkout. Memberships, dues, donations, admission, events, auctions, raffles, classes and the gift shop all land on the same record, on your own Stripe account. The same platform runs a single club and an institution with several 501(c) entities, each with its own bank account, tax status and receipts.

From the founder

I have served on non-profit boards, and still do. I have been an executive director. I have deployed and customized non-profit software end to end, for small local organizations and for organizations with international membership.

Before Clerestory, I spent more than a decade building lifecycle marketing and growth infrastructure at Stripe, Amazon, Okta and Deloitte. I know how payments work at scale. I also know how painful they are for staff and volunteers when the software works against them.

We use Clerestory at the non-profits I serve, because it is the best tool for the job. I hope it is the best one for you too.

How fast we build

We're newer than the platforms you've heard of. Here's what that gets you.

Since February 2026, Clerestory has shipped more than 1,200 improvements across 59 versioned releases. From September 1 to October 12 that meant 23 releases in 42 days, and 11 in the first 12 days of October alone.

In those 12 days we added a supporter CRM, households, a brand kit that matches your website, event waivers, a check-in scanner for every event and global search.

We build alongside the non-profits who use Clerestory every day. What you tell us shapes the next release, and the next release is rarely more than a few days away.
